Practice Schedule

The first day of practice is Monday, May 6th.  Practices are Monday-Friday, with noted exceptions below related to meets.  

All practice times are subject to change.

May 6 - June 6

4:00 -- 4:45pm 7-8's

4:45 -- 5:30pm 9-10's

5:30 -- 6:00pm 6 & Unders

6:00 -- 7:00pm 11 & Ups


June 7 - End of Season*

7:00 -- 8:00am 11 & Ups

8:00 -- 8:30am 6 & Unders

8:30 -- 9:15am 7-8's

9:15 -- 10:00am 9-10's

*Practices on the day of a meet will be light and may not run the full time allotted.  Coach will communicate changes to practice times. There will be no practice on the morning following a meet.

Meet of Champions & All Stars Info

Swimmers will be allowed to wear technical swim suits at the Meet of Champions and All Star Meet. The technical suits must be on the current FINA list of approved suits at the time of the meet.

Meet of Champs

To be eligible to compete in the MOC, a swimmer must have competed in a minimum of two (2) regularly scheduled WHALe dual meets.

The events will be the same as the events swum at dual meets. Each team will be allowed one (1) entry per relay event, eight (8) entries per freestyle event, four (4) entries per back, breast, and butterfly event, and three (3) entries per I.M. event.  These entries will be done by Coach Lesley and Coach Rose and parents will be notified.  

WHALe All Stars MEET (ASM)

All Stars Meet Qualifiers from Meets of Champs will include: a) The fastest (1) swimmer in each division in free, back, breast, and fly automatically advance and the next 18 fastest times from any division will automatically advance to the ASM in the free, back, breast and fly. The top finisher from each division and the next 10 fastest times from any division in IM will advance to the ASM
