Are you ready to swim with the STARS for the 2026 season? We're welcoming back Coach Rose and we are looking forward to our best season yet!

STARS Registration Fees

Open Registration (All Families): March 9th until capacity

Residents: $200 first child, $180 for the second child and $165 for all additional children.($25 of this will be charged as a separate line item by WHALe during registration).

Non Residents: $200 for first child, $180 for the second child and $165 for all additional children ($25 of this will be charged as a separate line item by WHALe during registration), plus $35 non resident fee per family.

Swimmers ages 15-18 are discounted to $55.

*Registration fees include one team t-shirt, one latex STARS practice swim cap, one end of year swimmer award, and admission to the End of the Year party.

Refund Policy:

As a rule, the swim team has a policy that registration fees are nonrefundable once practices have begun. Any refunds requested before practices start will require board approval and will be made less any electronic processing or administration fees already incurred by the team. Those swimmers that are unable to swim the length of the pool by evaluation day (May 7)  will be refunded $50 and not be able to participate in the remainder of the season. Any other drop from the team roster once practices start, will result in forfeiture of all registration fees.

Kickboard Note:

Parents are required to purchase their own kickboard for their swimmers. Kickboards can be found on Amazon, swimoutlet.com, Texas Swim Shop, etc. and cost about $15-$20. Kickboards are required for practice and should be competitive swimming kickboards. Please ensure the kickboard is the appropriate size for your swimmer; many brands make junior sizes for younger athletes.

The STARS are looking forward to swimming our 14th year in the Long Meadow Farms community and 8th year as part of the West Houston Aquatic League (WHALe)

2026 Athlete Protection Training Signup

Athlete Protection Training

All coaches and adult (anyone over age 14) volunteers are required to complete Athlete Protection Training. This applies to anyone who will be acting in the capacity of a volunteer or coach for a WHALe team at practice or at meets. It is highly recommended that all parent/guardians of WHALe athletes take this course.
